Anybody used the Provcheck app to validate ABC Bullion?

Description of it seems highly dubious.

Could be helpful but I can't sign up (Network error) Any luck for you?

I'm guessing the app owner has access to a database of serialised bars.

Yes I loaded it and signed up (ios), but I have no ABC bars

It prompts for serial number and to take photo of front and back of bar.
I wonder if it is just a database of bars - the app has no location permissions so at least it doesn't track location of bars.

I found a slight issue with me using it...

"Currently compatible with numbered 1kg ABC Bullion gold bars, the app enables customers to scan their bars and unlock the mine-to-market history of the product"
