Proof Silver Queen's Beasts - Lion of England

I may have stumbled on something on the Royal Mint website. I don't think they've announced this yet, but it looks like they are releasing a silver proof version of the Lion of England coin.

I saw this on the Christmas Gift Guide page, in the Luxury Gifts section banner: http://www.royalmint.com/our-coins/gifts/christmas-shop/luxury-gifts

The design is similar, but it looks like the text is different, and the background is plain as opposed to the "chain maille" pattern.
 
Well spotted westminstrel. Thanks for sharing. The image looks like the real deal - not just a render.

The numbering above the lion is difficult to see exactly but could be 2017.
 
Sneaky, sneaky! They've replaced the pic with a silver Year of the Rooster. Luckily, I saved the image, anticipating something like this :P
 
.. so I posed the question directly to the mint "when is it available ?"

They replied. "This coin is our "The Queens Beasts" coin which will be available to order soon.

The link asks for name and email address. It has a couple of check boxes, one for Annual Sets
and another for The Queens Beasts.
 
Cool, thanks for that, Trident! I haven't gotten any of the coins in this range yet, but I think I will get this one. It better frikkin be affordable lol :D
