Proof Dragons at the Post Office

i picked up 3 gilded dragons from oakleigh post office in the centro centre last week, they had 5 in total but were holding two for other customers. Always ask what they have at the back in stock as the display cases are usually not a good indication.

Thanks for heads up on caringdale. They are very helpful indead. Picked up a typset from them today plus multiple coloured and gilded dragons

1oz coloured and 1/2 oz coloured bought today (only ones left in stock in the store). I wasn't too fussed on the 1/2 oz but got it anyway. Indicated that there were approx 30 x 1 oz coloured that could be ordered in for me if I want them. ???!!!

Think I might put in an order tomorrow for them all. :)
 
Just been to Australia Fair PO, they have 5 x 1/2 oz coloured dragons hidden behind the counter if anyone still wants them.

With clarrification, looks like the postie led me astray. Nothing more in stock. I was lucky to get my 1oz yesterday. Still, one is better than none. Maybe next time!
 
Just cleaned out the townsville city PO and the castletown store. Lady was annoyed, she just put them in the display cabinet and made them all pretty :) now they will make my vault pretty, after I gaze lovingly at them for awhile :-p

I have a dealer in Melbourne who is the same
He gets upset when I purchase thing from his display cabinet :)
 
i'm chasing a 1oz colored proof or an regular proof. Please help!!!

Went to 6 post offices around Brisbane, but nothing... Sunnybank PO have 1/2 oz colored and gilded if anyone is interested



Edit. - found the colored.. Still after non colored proof
 
Just a heads up; Warwick Shopping Centre PO Shop in Perth has 2 1oz coloured proof dragons available. They gave me the option of buying all 4 but I only took two since I have a ton already..
 
picked up a 1/2oz colored proof dragon today @ oakleigh centro..

according to the mgr someone cleaned them up this week of all the dragons that they had.
 
Should be getting a few more in at my local, the 1oz proof dragons that is, I will see if he is getting any coloured or typsets in as well. The mania seems to be dying down a bit though, might have to sit on them for a while.
 
If it is still in the Post Office then it probably isn't !

My local PO has gilded and coloured rabbits from last year, I bought a coloured rabbit for $78 last year as a present for my niece.

However.... if someone is making up a set they wll be needing one!

If the price is right why not but I would rather pay a bit more for a dragon which has a chance of going up in value quicker.
