Pricing info on 2000 & 2001 3-coin sets

Was hoping to get some information and pricing help on the 2000 & 2001 Lunar Proof sets. I purchased them years ago and just stashed them away. I was going to sell them to a local dealer here in the states at melt but wanted to get an idea on their original issue price. I could hardly find any information when I tried Ebay and came up with the 2000 set selling from a low of $2300 to a high of $2700. The 2001 I couldn't find anything on. Are these valid prices? What about the 2001? TIA...Ricky
 
ebay ususally overpriced and dont go to the local dealer.they worth more than melt:)

At work currently. I work nights in the states (Aussie daytime), so I won't be able to put any up until later, but I will do. Thanks.
 
I assumed the question was about gold proof sets, judging by the prices quoted.
