Hi, Just wondering if anyone would know the current price for a 1990 US 1/2 oz double eagle? The only one I could find online was one at apmex for $1695 US. Could this be right? (only minted 31,000) Cheers
 
I don't think the US has minted the double eagle in close to a century unless it is some commemorative or special that I don't know about. You probably have a regular Gold Eagle in 1/2 oz size. In which case it will be worth a premium in addition to current spot of around $50.
