Prestige Coins: Attempted Robbery

The owner (previous member on this site) has been running the shop (https://prestigecoins.com.au/) for a few years now but with the new spotlight on gold and silver prices it got some unwanted attention.

Two men tried to break in to the shop using a hammer but first they tried to break into his skull with it. He is ok and they didn't get anything.

It made the news so he is probably going to get some grief for saying he keeps a machette for self defence in the back of the shop, which is what he used to fend off the attackers and probably the reason the insides of his head are still in place.

If you see any motorbike riders with cuts to their legs it could be them.

He is running a coin shop so is an obvious target for thieves but if you weren't already on your guard, just be careful of who you talk to.

Always have a weapon accessible, regardless of what the sick leftist woke government keeps trying to impose.
Imagine if this guy had no weapon, it could have resulted in serious injury or brain injury and his shop stripped clean.

Im happy to see him fighting back like a man protecting what he has worked so hard for. This guy is a legend and someone I highly respect after seeing this. The fact that he had a machete laying around is something.

You think coin dealers will just roll over...95% of them carry you just don't know it. I have been in the coin business over 25 years as a customer and dealer for years. I always watched out leaving shows and would drive on the hwy to make sure nobody could follow me. Never out to eat after the show...straight home but in a loop where nobody can follow me.

Not in Australia.
