Personally, I like the pre-1946 ones (92.5% silver vs the 50% silver content of the post-1946 ones). I have a number of post 46 ones, but will be planning on getting rid of them at some stage.
As for the mix, I have a lot of 3d and 6d but I'd have hated to use them as general coins - especially the 3d because they get lost so damned easily. Drop one in the carpet and spend the next 5 minutes hunting for it.
So for me, I'm mainly in the market for pre-46 florins and shillings and, if I can find them inexpensively, 1937 crowns.
