I have (accidentally) found an incredible product for posting 1966 fifties that is FREE

BAKING PAPER ROLLS from ALDI!!! Talk about recycling.


The coins fit perfectly, they dont make any noise when in there snug and you can cut it to size :)

I forgot to mention that there is 136 coins in that tube and it doesnt fill it up so i think its good for over 2kg of coins.
 
That's neat that they fit in the roll so snugly. For shipping, a fake CD, DVD, or Blu-ray case also works very well. You can take an actual CD jewel case and cut a hole in it, or several, then use the cut-outs as protection for the coins after you've inserted them. Wrap with paper or paperboard, then ship in a CD or DVD mailer. This might be the cheapest shipping method in most countries. In the US, it would cost less than mailing a tube.
