Other than the money we use... what other uses are there for polymer banknotes?

In weimar when their money became worthless they burnt it, it's value and use could be measured in BTU. But what about polymer, are there other uses?

At the beach I use a $100 note under the glasses to keep the sun off my nose. Helps pick up the dirty sheilas.

I used a $5 Polymer note & supa-glue to patch a hole on a tarp.... the tarp didn't see the end of the trip, but not because of the patch...that darn note wouldn't tear!

Stitch em together and make a raincoat? Waterproof your roof with them?
Collect all the transparent windows on each note and make replacement windows? Roll dump tight to make a small pipe? Stitch em together to make a sail for your dyi sail boat that will take you outta the country? Stitch em together in a reversed umbrella fashion to collect rainwater for when the SHTF? You can't burn them but if you stack enough and lay all your internal walls with them the added insulation could help you keep you warm! Lucky oz doesn't get as cold as Germany in winter, hence the choice of polymer. Simples!
