Please notes that the package and the box a wooden book. There are 2 brass medals. The first three photos are the outer sides of the medals. The 4th photo is the inner sides of the photo. Both inner sides just fit into each other as one medal when you close the wooden box package. I will try to show you the photo tonight. It is brilliant design by the Poland Award winning designer Ms Anna.

There is 2 coa for this medals which one from Poland mints and another from china sponsor company. Thus, you can see the medals has Chinese words and coa from the sponsor company is in mandarin. This is very special and seldom see in Ebay. Mostly likely ebay seller Lavender will sell it in ebay.

From the photo you known that the design and technology used by Poland mints and the designer is different from China.

The edge is more smooth and less sharp. The high relief is not as high as china medal. However, it is attractive enough and a excellent design which compliment each others.

Poland mints is long established and well reputation in assisting private sponsor, other mints and countries to produce nice products. Their experiences are wide and accumulated over years.

This medals are 80 mm silver and gold will be expansive and with lesser buyers. Thus, the sponsor is not willing to take those risk. Brass is affordable to general consumer and lower investment risks for investors. They consider this as art pieces rather than base on metal value.

If the above 2 metals in silver which is within the 300g each and both add up 600 g (19 oz) which might cost around USD1,500 and above. The shipping cost will be at least 250 without any insurance costs from Poland to sponsor than whole-seller and dealer eventually end consumer. Shipping cost alone is 17%. If it sell at ebay need another nim 7 - 10% and paypal 4%. This end up range from 1,665 to 1,710. Not many collectors will buy big medal so it is high risk.

I will show you guys one material like silver BUT much lower price than silver.

Not too shabby. But ultimately not for me.

Besides, I'd want to have them slabbed, anyway, which would sort of ruin that part of the concept..

Half Poland, half China.. ;)

I'm finding most of the best 2016 monkeys (so far) have mostly been Chinese..

This one, Buddha Monkey & Panda Monkey.

Canada has a nice proof, too.

6 gram silver foil note by Nanjing mints just reach me.

Nanjing Mints is reputable and selected by China Government in minting the circulate notes (China Yuan or REMINBI) and circulate coins. Nanjing Mints technology to note is one of the best among the 4 official mint in China.

This is the first silver foil note of Nanjing Mints of the Lunar series if I am not wrong. The mintage is 2,000.

It comes with attractive package and coa.

You can feel the 3D effect of the silver note under light reflection due to special technology is used in minting this note. This is pure silver 6 gram instead of silver plated.

The design shows a group of happy monkey playing on the tree and traditional prosperous kid holding a "KOI" fish to represent the happiness and prosperous.

The silver foil note size is 62 mm x 130 mm

I like those silver notes! Those are really sweet!

yes.... the silver foil note is sweet.

It is by Nanjing mints who is the appointed government mints in producing "fai Pio" government printed official invoices use by all china company in china. On top of it, it also specialise in producing the circulate notes of the "RMB or china Yuan".

Please notes that this silver foil note is suing the patented technology which make the 3D effect on the Note. It is not hologram type.

This only can be justified when you hold on hand. The photo is yet to able to see it clearly.

I think that 2-piece medal is spectacular....I love how they come together to fit like a glove. I've only seen a rare few other 2-piece medals that are designed to do that.

Thanks for sharing such a cool medal set Andy.
