PM Verifier Group Buy

Interested in getting a precious metals verifier to test a bunch of stuff I have, but don't want to pay the $1000 odd price tag just for that.

Is anyone from Perth interested in going in for a group buy for one of these things? Was thinking we could either hire it out for any other local members interested. Even resell it - I would only need it to test a bunch of small items I have and for my family. Too many small pieces to bother the dealer with.

Is this useful for larger (e.g. 1kg) bars or just small coins/bars?

Saw one in action in Florida 2 weeks ago. Seems ok to me.

Cheapest I've seen is 650 USD for a basic kit with small and large wands. If you want to check kilo bars I think you will need the bullion wand which can read deeper into the material.

For kilo bars, you might as well just use ultrasonic.

It would be nice if a pool of 20+people in the same state to outlay 1oz silver to chip in this one PM verifier.

It can be kept in a rotation or free to use via stackers' meeting.
