Platinum Kangaroos in 2018

It looks like the Perth Mint Platinum Platypus is becoming extinct in 2017, to be replaced by a 1oz Platinum Kangaroo starting in 2018. Wording suggests the design is the same as the silver kangaroo, hopefully the premiums are more in line with their 1oz gold coins:

I wish they had done something a little different with their platinum bullion program. Maybe a a different Australian wildlife animal every year, and add fractional sizes, but Pt Kangaroo with annual design change is a move in the right direction in my opinion. I couldn't help reading through all the design descriptions, I should have just waited a few more days for the designs to be unveiled LOL.

i liked the Platinum Platypus. Would have been nice to see something unique for the new Platinum coin, instead of the kangaroo design that's on the silver coin. (though i do like the silver kangaroo design)
