++PICS ADDED++1894 Ten D Eagle

Look at any photo of a similar coin and you will know its fake straight away. Even coins pulled out of the dirt look better than that and have a much sninier gold lustre to them.

BUY IT!!!

and learn a big lesson!

Do not buy from street vendors.

Pssst! Wanna buy a watch? Genyuine RRRolex!
Only 5 hunnder dollar!

Don't take this personally but I do think that you are blinded by greed.

Which is more likely?

1) Street Vendor is selling a gold coin for below spot
2) Street Vendor is selling a counterfeit gold coin to a tourist who thinks that the Street Vendor doesn't know that he is selling a gold coin for below spot.

Not blinded but I understand

I'm not buying it unless I can get it conclusively tested

He wouldn't sell me the Guildens for a reasonable price
How much are the 2 1/2 Gs worth you reckon?

Cause the Guildens were his props and he knew they are real, while his gold is a fake

That coin looks cast. Detail is just wrong wrong wrong.

There are plenty of fake gold coins out there - don't waste your money.
