Been asked by The Perth Mint if there's interest from forum members in repeating a launch event in Perth for the Year of the Goat, likely to be the first Monday in September, similar to what's been done in conjunction with Silver Stackers for the Dragon, Snake and Horse releases.
Please post your expression of interest in attending such an event - the mint has recently had some areas refurbished, and the launch would for the first time be held in the historic gold pour room.
If you have not attended one of these events before, the launch event entails introductions, a presentation of the launch video, and a Q&A with key staff from the mint who can answer any questions on the day. Following the launch, attendees in years past have had the opportunity to access the mint shop ahead of the scheduled opening time in order to purchase the bullion coins (which means that on the day someone is usually the first in the world to buy one retail - NGC would probably make a slab for that if you asked!).
