I'm a little embarrassed by the responses - we initially had 17 members attending when there is space for 70, and in previous years there have been 50+ members on the day.

This year's launch will be hosted by the guys from Perth Bullion (aka Bullion Bourse), and one of the staff from Gold Stackers will also be along. The Perth Mint is putting on a gold pour display exclusively for members, and will be soliciting feedback for their upcoming website relaunch - so if you've ever grumbled about the mint's website being slow, or timing out etc when chasing new releases - get along and have some input into the new one!

This year Lunar Goat is going to be the best coins of the Lunar Series II , by far.
This comes from me first.
IMHO it is a WOW!!!! ;)

Both coins are winner.
 
Also - embargo ends on August 13th this year, so expect pics mid-week of the new designs.
 
Official launch update I've been asked to update members on:

1. We have space for up to 80 attendees - although we're far short of that number at the moment. The launch will be held in the historic Melting House.
2. The mint's new cafe will be open for coffee before the event starts.
3. (This might get a few more members along) Verbatim from the mint:

There will be no buying limits placed on 1oz bullion issues for this event, though, buying limits will be imposed for purchases made online (being 20 x 1oz silver Lunars and 5 x 1oz gold Lunars)

GP - can we anticipate that PM will provide volume breaks for the 1 ounces...? Or is that more like a dream?

They did last year on a roll of twenty but as per previous comments on here we were limited to one roll each and hence why I elected not to attend this year and now reading the quote from GP on no limits I'm possibly regretting my decision but all too late now

Plus real names of any guests. This is a security requirement of the Perth Mint hosting the event. Without this information you won't be added to the door list for entry.

Yep, have a few names to add to the list from the last few days. List will be closed on Wednesday.
 
If you are coming to the Mint on Monday please note that due to the unexpected level of demand for 2015 Year of the Goat 1oz bullion coins we have been forced to impose sales limits per person. These are:

20 x 1oz Silver Bullion Goats
5 x 1oz Gold Bullion Goats

Apologies for the short notice but as members here will understand it's important to offer as many people as possible the chance to purchase these limited mintage coins at issue price.
