Perth Mint survey

Got an email from the Perth Mint recently with a link to a survey. The survey has a heavy focus on how their consumers receive communication and will be used to help them target their advertising. I avoided these question and instead focused on the questions about the quality and quantity of their products. I encourage other members to do the same if they have received the link for the survey. Most of their proof lunar series are still available, maybe they are finally realising they have gone to far with the number and quality of products they are releasing!:D

I don't think there are quality issues with the mint products, they are always of the highest standards.
Other points valid though.

i think that the quality has gone down without a doubt. notice milk style spots, scratches, black spots amongst others.

In the rush to keep up with Lunar mania they let their quality drop without a doubt. compare pre dragon... or even dragon for that matter with the latest stuff and you will see a higher standard of item.

I personally have not witnessed this, but then again I do not have that many coins and we know the bars always have been rough :)

I'm sick of them sending me those colour pamphlets

Its not as bad as downies sending 3 stacks of the same crap to the same address.

i filled in the survey,

The most important thing i think is not to release so many different coins from the same series.
If you look at the Lunar series, there are so many coins, colored and special issues, that they are not unique anymore, but most troubling is that i'm not rich enough to buy all of the series every year.

When I say quality I mean the actual designs they are putting out. Very basic and very boring IMO. Way too many coloured!!
