Thanks for the pics, disappointing they are not numbered as the wording seems to imply that they would be:

2013 Stock Horse

Illustrated Presentation Card
Each coin is released in an illustrated presentation card featuring a rural Australian property at sunset.

2014 Stock Horse

Numbered Presentation Card
Each coin is released in a numbered presentation card which features a rural property at sunset.

I'd say borderline false advertising, I was initially pissed off about the lack of a COA to be honest with you.

No point bringing it up with the mint though, they know how to twist words better than most... if the past is anything to go on :/

I have emailed Ron Currie (who has an SS account), hopefully he can take a minute to respond regarding the discrepancy.
Perhaps it was something missed in production, perhaps the description writers made a mistake, perhaps we are misunderstanding the meaning of numbered.

It's going to be our fault for reading it wrong probably

Just as well they're the best mint on the planet, makes it easier to forgive them when they play word games.

Can somebody post the number I need to call internationally, I just can't get it to work!!!

Thanks

I have just called EMK, they are only selling coins to people in Germany.

I asked them if there will be a UK distributor or where I would be able to purchase from and the lady on the phone said that the Director has not yet decided what is happening in terms of allocations to distributors/dealers.

So doesn't look hopefully for us UK guys unless you happen to have contacts in Germany.

The Perth Mint website has been updated to remove the reference to the card being numbered:

http://www.perthmint.com.au/catalogue/the-australian-stock-horse-2014-1oz-silver-coin.aspx

I have brought 10 of these and I am a bit disappointed.

are they going to compensate those who bought the coins due to misleading information? :P

maybe if i file a formal complaint about false advertising, Ron?

Don't be greedy BB, pick one and i'll take the other! :P

  PM might just send you a piece of sticker with 4-digit number, with a note "please apply this at the back of your carded horse, thank you"

Well someone from Perth Mint obviously seen this thread and changed description on the PM website, why doesn't that person try and explain the #### up here? :)

At least u Aussies got the carded version for a good price these german leaches ask 95 euro for a carded version the stock horse without blister nowhere to be seen exept ebay de for 75 euro what a joke the german kartel dont let them fool u

The cards are numbered, it's just that they are all numbered 2014 ;)

They can't even get the new web-page correct.

Now they say:

"The coin's reverse portrays an Australian Stock Horse galloping on a rural property alongside a wooden fence. The design includes the inscription THE AUSTRALIAN STOCK HORSE, the 2014 year-date and The Perth Mint's 'P' mintmark"
http://www.perthmint.com.au/catalogue/the-australian-stock-horse-2014-1oz-silver-coin.aspx

That's incorrect!

The coin design does not include the words "THE AUSTRALIAN STOCK HORSE".

The coin design has the words "AUSTRALIAN STOCK HORSE".

Come on you guys at Perth, you can do better than this! Overhaul yourweb-site, with a fine tooth comb and...pay some attention to detail. :(

Haha. Well if none of us buy the coins from the german dealer, I'm sure the prices will stabilize to reasonable levels.

Maybe barcode stickers have different numbers.

Otherwise there's gunna be a plethora of "For Sale - Card #1."

Actually the fold out thingy is really handy. I have one on my desk at work where my ex-wife's pic was. SH has better legs. :P
