Perth Mint releases at midnight tonight

If you want to see all the coins in one page with good images we'll have them up at the same time as the Perth Mint does. I know the PM site gets really slow. http://agaunews.com/?p=11016

If you're intending to buy coins, please do use the Silverstackers link above, however.

Talisman jumped the embargo and on Ebay of all places.

yawn. pm, same ole same ole. they need to take lessons from the chinese artists...now they know how to make medals and coins!!!

well that was a waste of time, 1 per customer, I needed at least 2 as gifts and a few for myself so that stuffs that.

The govmint had Australian Wedge-Tailed Eagle 2014 1oz for a while now. I was looking for the High Relief coins and saw it a week or two ago...

Wallet is safe...

So there is a limit to how many you can buy?

Well that's a good thing !

I don't think so, I manage to add 100 5oz HR into my shopping cart and got an error... "Reached max quantity" and Perth Mint adjusted my shopping cart to 33... Seems to me no max order for the 5-ouncer.

The kookaburra is a 0.5g gold coin. This would be so tiny that I don't think the fine details, like the feathers, would show up well. Also it looks like the omitted all the background details, so the kookaburra looks a bit odd perched on nothing.

As for the wedge tail eagle, just to clarify some facts and what was available: Perthmint only had the raw 1oz high relief available for initial release, while govmint in the US had the graded and signed 1oz and 5oz high relief (no raw high relief coins were available, and didn't come with box or COA). Shortly after, govmint had the raw 1oz proof with box and COA, graded not available. On the release today from Perth, only raw 1oz proof and 5oz raw high relief, both with box and COA are available. Basically if you wanted to any any graded/signed high relief, you'd have to purchase from govmint.

as I said yawn. good for them for selling out, but the APMEX's of the world have plenty of this garbage for sale, at much lower prices than what is listed on these links. Heck and case and point is the yellow bellied snake (D&D) is going for 67.99. They have these types of 'deals' going on littered on their pages...as I said, 'yawn.' :o
