Perth Mint out of stock/supply issues

The chances of not getting physical for paper or pre paid physical from PM is a big fat zero. Its a shame they are taking so long, but you can be lucky and jag a kilo bar or a 10 or 20oz across the counter. The worst thing about the present production hold ups for the mint is the amount of sales they must be losing, and for the customer, parting with the fiat and waiting, waiting, waiting.

I didn't used to but I now think this reflects very poorly on the Perth Mint.

I still can't get past why anybody would order from the Perth Mint ,unless you can walk in there.
When there are site sponsers here who sell below PM prices,Who are actually stock. The special offers are one thing ,but ordering in bulk coins BLAAAH.
Maybe us Mexicans are spoiled by so many dealers around town ,there's hardly a neeed to buy on line

Bron I am genuinely pleased some people are getting their metal, its the way i should be, but how is it that I am still waiting for mine from two months ago? It just doesn't make sense?

You also timed it at exactly the bottom of the most recent dip then by the sound of it. Doubly lucky.

True :) But I have bought the majority of mine between $38 and $45. I actually bought 120 philharmonics at $53 per coin

We are half done with our production upgrade, which means that working through back orders is going to be spotty. As our blog says, our approach is to bulk manufacture single sizes as this means we get more made, but it does mean those waiting for other sizes have a longer wait.

The fact that online, shop and depository operate on different computer systems also means that back order fulfillment and availability of stock for new sales may differ as each department processes it sales independently.

Hello again!

I was at the Perth Mint today (July 22), after being told over the phone the week previously by some guy that they had 10oz bars in "surplus". Anyway, they did not have any 10oz bars in stock. All they had were 20oz bars.
