Perth Mint - Order tracking

Hi Stackers ...... Has anyone experienced being advised by PM that order had been dispatched, but found that Australia Post can't find any "activity" relating to your tracking number? PM stated it dispatched my dragons 3 days ago - AP has no activity to report - other than it being marked "receipted delivery".
 
Yes also happened to me. It might show up only on delivery day or might not show up at all. I agree with alex.ross. give it another day or 2.
 
Yes also happened to me, but the package is a Receipted Delivery, so wont show up til you get it or the PO gets it back from the postie
 
Yeah i've got two like that at the moment.

A bit of a 'wtf' moment for me, but I figure i'll just be patient

I just placed my first online order at the Mint yesterday , i usually just drive up and buy direct but with CHOGM atm i didnt wanna try. I am sure i woulda panicked a bit as well . :D
 
It's because a tracking number is assigned at packing time before it's collected for delivery. Not unique to the Perth Mint :)
 
Normally expect them to show up in the system within a few days.. but my dragon order from back at start of the month was marked as shipped last week - but still no tracking info in Aus Post... so expecting that my package has been sitting at the mint all ready for pickup since last week.. hopefully they send it soon!
 
oh also - don't forget it is public holiday there today.. so cross fingers they send them out on Monday.
