Perth Mint Funnel-Web Spider silver bullion coin

What I want to know if there are any Aussie dealers who have it stock to sell yet ? Or are the photos I've seen at a major dealer just another pre-order !

I just bought some tonight. They are now available
 
Dunnoh. Just can't get round to liking this one. They should've used a more menacing image of it rearing up with its fangs bared or something?!

It at least deserves a red speed-stripe like the redback :-)
 
I was surprised with this coin as I thought it would be dull finish like the crocs but its mirror finish both sides!

The relief of the actual spider feels higher as well. The whole coin looks more like a token than a coin, similar to the Perth Mint tokens I have.
 
Are you sure you bought the right spider coin mr taco? Because from the pics(haven't got my hands on any yet) it looks like the same finishing as the croc, which is why I loved the croc as a bullion coin, the frosted finish with mirrored croc and mirrored text

I have the red speed stripe, square capsule limited to only 50,000 mintage version for sale if you like, only $150ea. Also, you might like to consider the 1kilo au version, bit out of my price range though :)

Well Its not mirror I possibly chose the wrong words lol, its shiny like a minted 1oz bar! looking at it now, the queens head is frosted but the rest of the coin both sides is not.

Looks rather cheap compared to a kook I am comparing it too!

I will have to dig out a croc for comparison as I havnt looked at a croc for ages.
 
Ok cheapest looking coin i have to date! I thought the croc was a step backwards but comparing the two side by side the Funnel Web is a "Token" lol

This truly is a "Bullion coin"

The design is by "AH" with the P and 100000000% its not a copy!
 
Looking at the OP,s Artist impression pic of the FWS it looks like the same desighn as the Croc but in reality its nothing like the artist impression pic.
 
My photo,s wouldnt lol Too shiny for my camera to get a shot good enough to see.

Its so shiny i cant get an in focus shot! lol did you think I didnt realize its out of focus? I tried 3 cameras, the coin surface picks up the reflection of the cameras and puts it out of focus?
 
you should put your focusing area on the border of the coin, and then take a shoot. dont focus middle of the coin, focus border, it is easier for CPU to take focus that way when comparing border to background.
