Good afternoon Mr XXXX

On investigating undespatched orders I could see that the order was overpaid by AU$399.00

I believe you may have attempted to purchase the 3 coin silver Year of Dragon set but I am sorry to advise we are unable to supply this item for you
Please advise how you would like to receive a refund either to your bank account or credit card if you prefer

Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this has caused you

Inconvenience, what a joke.

This doesn't look good.

Thanks for the heads up.

Might be all those orders coming in from the post offices..

That is ridiculous though if your order was confirmed, you paid and now you are being told its not going to happen. What if you had sold them for $600 on the bay already?

Just got through to perth mint shop lady said they had a 3 coin proof set (but) only over the counter. She put me through to phone an mail orders they cant do it as they have none left. Was told the coin shop has its own allocation an they cant help me. So if i lived in Perth i could walk into the shop an get one. but not over the phone. CRAZY SHIT

OMG, what a nightmare :(
Mine it just got delivered, hope there's a 3 coin set in the box -_-;

lol....very amusing..

Oh you were referring to this thread, I was confused what your PM was about since it came out of nowhere :S.

Anyway as Aust-Tech told me in PM, Perth Mint can place an order, confirm it with an order number but still the order may not be filled nor guaranteed.

Relevant T&C: http://www.perthmint.com.au/termsAndConditions.aspx

Upon receipt of your order, the Mint will issue you with an email notification, listing the items ordered, the total product and shipping charges, delivery address and shipping carrier. This will not include any customs duties, local taxes or bank fees. This is a confirmation that we have received your order, not a confirmation of acceptance or processing.

Horrible. Horrible stuff.

I'd be out of business quick smart and most likely banned from the forum if I sold some items, took payment and later said "nah nah no stock mate", and rightly so.

Makes you wonder.
