Whats the significance of the peach? Anyone up on their fruitology?

Peach symbolises longevity. Monkeys with Peaches, an interesting combination often seen on ancient China jade ornaments or jewellery

The Chinese word monkey "hou" sounds close to another word which represents a high ranking officer.
Putting both together symbolise the best of both worlds (power and health), sort of.

Isnt it little bit early for 2016 coin? I expected it around September....

Sure but... the cogs are turning at Perth and it won't be long before the Asian dealers have their first orders.

You could say...

"The Spies Are Out". :)

Peaches are native to China.
