Hi Harry

I am keen for 1 of those bars and am in the SE Qld region for F2F sale. I am new to the forum so I haven't figured out private messaging yet.

Hi mate. I am away for the weekend so I will have to see what next week brings. I don't think Sharky wants to spend any more than what was agreed on locking in, as he is maxxed out. He also has a good offer on 10oz bars which he would prefer if you didn't want to stick to the 15K price. I understand pricing has had a good run yesterday, but if I offer to lock in a price for someone, thats what it will be regardless of market movements. It's your silver though so you are free to do whatever you like with it.

Hi mate,
Not quite how things played out. I offered to lock the price at 15k for 2 bars (which was close to spot at the time) and he would only come up to 14.8k. I said we could either lock in 15k now or wait and see what the price does overnight. He only agreed on the 15k 3hrs later after the price had moved up significantly. I would've had to accept any downside risk in the price had it had dropped in price, so it’s fair for him to accept the upside risk until the deal is done. Had he accepted the offer at the time, the deal would’ve been done.
