Perth Mint 100oz Bar

I'm new to this forum and I have a question regarding a recent purchase I made. I bought a new 100oz silver Perth Mint bar. It's the newest style bar. I received it yesterday and I was questioning the serial number. The bar passes the magnet test but, the serial number looks hand engraved. I was wondering if anyone knows if this is how the newer bars are marked or if the numbers are always pressed. I've searched all over trying to find the answer or other pictures of bars like this with not much luck. I hope some of the people on here will be able to shed some light on this for me. Thanks in advance.

No doubt it's legit but how long have they been engraving the serial numbers? I haven't seen one like that....

From what I've read they started serializing them sometime back in mid-2010.
Serial on the bar above looks more like it's been etched on by a machine rather than hand.

Hey new to this forum although I have been reading information on it for a while now.

I ordered this exact same bar on friday and it should be arriving shortly directly from the perth mint here in Australia I can post a picture and let you know if my bar is ingraved as well once it arrives if you like.

I have seen the same style bar with the serial stamped in, maybe they're a bit older though...
Nice bars for a nice price regardless

EDIT: just saw your video of the 2.5oz gold PM bar, very cool too.

Thanks for all the responses guys. I really appreciate it. I'm just getting started in stacking and this was my first large purchase and wanted a second opinion on the matter. Thanks again.
