Perth Bullion Liquidation

Thanks for leting us know scrooge.
may i ask if you brought your own key or did they provide it? And did you have the first item they mentioned in the deed - the 'application form"? many of us dont have the application form or keys. Would be helpful to know if this is gonna be a hiccup. Some have suggested it should not be really.

I didnt have the original application
I just had invoices for previous years fees
They held the keys as i used to work out of town and they regularly added to my sdb on my behalf, which i had audited every year
Never had any dramas

can pledge silver to get a loan and collect it after full payment :)

All ok once they had all the req doco before confirming appt
Just had to show id and sign deed of release on site then got my sdb
Verified contents, then left
Just relieved
I hope all others have same outcome
What? You could sign Deed of Release AT THE SITE? before or after viewing the box contents?

Ben is there any class action group being formed for this situation?

It's gone quite here.

I'm hoping to share some good news regarding my sales order soon.

Anyone here received purchases that were paid for before liquidation?

I would be very interested in hearing from anyone who as a deposit box with Perth Bullion Company. RSM have got court orders which allows them to charge box owners $350 to have access to their box. You represented the box owners in court? Was this a default judgement as there where no on there to argue the case for the owners?
We only found out about Perth Bullion company going into liquidation or the court cast earlier this month
yeah the whole system seems rigged for corporations against the individual citizen

Mr A Camp was representing some SDB holders in the court hearing.

If you look on liquidators web site you can click on the file and read the orders. Trying to understand what it exactly means is another matter

yes it would be interesting - did anyone go and video it? i doubt it. Is there a court transcript to easily access?

No idea who paid A Camp but the prerequisite to collecting your SDB is you sign the deed of release, which forfeits any recourse to RSM for anything that might go wrong. They could mix up, stuff up, steal or lose the SDB and nothing can be done.

I've spoken to the Supreme Court as the order covering release to SDB holders referred to a deed (annexure A) which has only been made available by the liquidator. I asked for a copy to come from them in order to confirm the document is the same - the lady I spoke to got quite stroppy and told me it is not attached. She then offered to put me in touch with the lawyers who wrote the deed for the liquidator!!!!

I said I'd rather get the order from the court as the court is the one enforcing it, but they don't have it!!!!
