Perth Bullion Liquidation

I'm looking into setting a dedicated online site for SDB holders - Given the large amount of individuals affected (and many of those are obviously not SS members), I think we need a more central place which we can ultimately advertise to affected parties to register.

PM me if you are a SDB holder - I will notify all of you as soon as it's online.

In the meantime happy to meet up as suggested so we can start to plan next steps.
Abossy, I couldnt find how to PM you. Has anything progressed on this front yet?

Can anyone tell me how to send PM (personal messages) - i cant work it out - could only see the "Start Conversation" thing - is that it?

Abossy, here is the screenshot of the telegram page - where do i insert the link?

Has anyone actually went through the process of collecting their stuff that they had in a SDB?
Would anyone be able to share what the process was and whether they actually made you pay the $350 dollars to get your stuff back?

Any if anyone was able to get their stuff back without paying the $350, would anyone be willing to share how they did it?

I've tried calling RSM a few times and they aren't answering the phone, keeps going to answering machine.

Feel pretty uneasy about all this...

An excerpt from the rsm announcement a few days ago and I was wondering if anyone went through this:

The process to be followed for the collection of goods, in an orderly manner, and in accordance with the Orders, is outlined below. Action is required by you to collect your goods.

To facilitate the collection of third-party goods as soon as practicably possible, an online booking system has been established where you will be able to book an appointment for a half an hour appointment (as designated by the Orders), to arrange collection of your goods from the Company’s premises at 180 Wright Street, Cloverdale.
Before booking, you will need to have provided certain documentation in accordance with the Orders.

Upon providing the necessary documentation and confirmations, and making a booking, my staff will review the information provided and will come back to you at least 24 hours prior to your booking to confirm the booking, or alternatively require you to provide any missing information by a specified time to retain the booking.

Well its the first business day after the release of the Deed of Release - they are probably flooded with calls

Has anyone asked the liquidator if they agree that this is part of the winding up of the business and that the cost come out of the business?

The really sad part is that this outcome was easy to avoid given that the court order was almost 6 month earlier and not a word of advice was given from the business owners or those in the know.

I've been reading through this thread.

My condolences to all those caught up in this stressful mess.

The $350 they are asking for people to access their safety deposit boxes is simply extortion.

I was only just thinking about safety deposit boxes the other day and concluded that I didn't like the idea due to not having 24/7 access, the ongoing fees and the possibility of this exact situation where the buisnes that holds the boxes goes bust, ... this has certainly confirmed my fears.

My only suggestion moving forward is to buy a decent size safe that can't be easily moved and keep your precious at home.
There's some very sturdy safes available at reasonable prices now days, might as well get something big and keep other previous stuff in it like passports, certificates and other important paperwork.
If your extra worried about security, back it up with an audible alarm and cctv, its all very affordable now.

I want to know if my items are actually in stock before I give these pricks another red cent!!!

What happens if you pay them $350 only to find that they don't have the actual items in stock or have run out of inventory?
Exactly, this my fear too.

For people with orders less than $350 or those that are on BackOrder or incomplete orders, is it possible to use Clause 5 in the Deed of Release for Sales Orders and just fill out the General Form as a Creditor and avoid the $350 Collection Fee? So forego the option to collect physical completely and just ask to be listed as a cash creditor.

I’m thinking this might be my best option because my goods are possibly non-existing because they were a BackOrder.

Got aceess to my sdb all ok today
All good with contents
Relieved
Thanks for leting us know scrooge.
may i ask if you brought your own key or did they provide it? And did you have the first item they mentioned in the deed - the 'application form"? many of us dont have the application form or keys. Would be helpful to know if this is gonna be a hiccup. Some have suggested it should not be really.

All ok once they had all the req doco before confirming appt
Just had to show id and sign deed of release on site then got my sdb
Verified contents, then left
Just relieved
I hope all others have same outcome
Curious if you had to pay any fee (i.e. the $350 everyone is worried about)?
