Payments in Silver.

I think the above will happen a lot more often in the coming years.


I've just got confirmation that part of a payment due to me will be paid in Silver. A 50oz PM bar to be exact. And the price was worked out at $31/oz Aussie.


Anyone else settling payments like this now,have done or think they will in the future?

Perth mint only produces 10 oz 1 KG & 100 oz bars at the moment, looking at their website! So you might get payment with one of these.
 
Thanks for that mate. The bar i'm getting is part of a collection owned by someone I know so it will definately be a 50oz. I'm chuffed to be getting this instead of $1550 cash.

Is there a specific size that's rare(under/over weight or dead on) or different stampings I should look for as I have the chance to choose which one I want. (There are over a dozen to choose from)

There in excellent nick as they have been locked away for about a decade.

I'm experiencing more opportunities to pay and be paid in metal as time goes on.

My accountant is now paid in metal :)

I've bought and sold iPhones for silver.
 


Actually 1 of my ex work mates jokes the same that he buys silver and doesnt have a house under his name yet... but pretty much when the time comes
wants to do a straight xfer of metal for a property.

BTW the 2 smaller bars on the top are PM 50 oz.
