Pay It Forward - A Christmas Gift

I wish I could have presented your kind gestures better than I have. It was important to place tags on each gift so Em and Kaz know who they are from.
Rather than buy a card, I took a photo of the gestures and put everyones name on the back with Xmas wishes from all of us. There are still a few gifts coming but the majority are here. The chest was in there it just got lost in photo.
There are 56 people who have given. Thank you to everyone, bless you all.

Fantastic Job everyone & special thanks to Maggie for putting things together & Silver surfer for pushing everyone along. If this doesn't put a smile on a little girls face despite all the grown up problems she has to contend with I'd be pretty surprised.

As a rule i don't like Xmas & all the fake sentiment attached but have to say this one just feels a whole lot better after seeing this, thanks to each & everyone involved.

Well everyone I think you all should be very proud of yourselves of what an outstanding job us as a community have done for Kaz & Em this xmas.

I would like to give the biggest praise to our very own Maggie for doing a fantastic job and also for letting us use her nest as a dumping ground, Maggie if you didn't live so far away I would be there to give you the biggest hug ;)

I could never have imagined how successful this Pay It Forward drive has been, my original thought was to try and encourage a few people to help make a difference in some fellow aussie's lives that were not as fortunate as myself.
I clearly under estimated the community spirit and the generousity we have here at Silver Stackers and I am pleased to make the announcement of our Grand Total :cool:

looks amazing maggie, thanks also to the organising forces. i know it will make a difference, i hope we can keep spirits high this season and continue our support til Em makes it home in the new year
 
Just when it was thought Em may have a reprieve from all the bad luck she has had, something else
happens to set her back. Em has taken a little turn for the worse with her lungs and graft versus host disease. She is covered in a frightfully angry rash and is quite exhausted from coughing. They are going to put a naso gastric tube down this afternoon without anaesthetic as she is not gaining weight and they cannot keep feeding her through her veins.
Your Christmas gesture will arrive today and I hope it can put a smile on Ems and Kaz's faces

The joy of Christmas is light on this year, my wishes are for Em to get better and Kaz be able to take her baby home soon.

I know I speak for everyone that our thoughts are with you both and everyone is praying for you.
