I've seen this for a few different coins, I think a lot of coin designs would make nice puzzles.
 
I wonder how much metal is now missing from the coin, it would be interesting to know the new weight.
I would think its impossible to cut the pieces without loosing some metal.
 
The manufacturer is USA as show in ebay means it is non-official coin from china. It is interesting to view the reverse side of the coin still bear the words of Republic of china.

I read somewhere that for 2013 and prior, they are becoming more valuable because they are the last ones used 1oz rather than gram (?).
is this true?
 
^ its been confirmed that 2015 onwards the oz metric wont be used on pandas.
They're going to use grams instead.

That'd mean 2014 is the last year with oz.
