fishball , you think it is possible to compare between a conserve one and a non conserve one at the same grade ?
Thanks for the account once again .
Possible to do and you can do it currently through two searches.
You can first search for 'ncs' to be included to get a list of listings which have NCS in the title & then exclude 'ncs' to get the ones which don't have or didn't list NCS.
Some sellers don't list that their coin is NCS'd in the title and that makes it difficult so this is the best that can be done for now.
eg. Frosted 2000
NCS (include):
Average Price: $426.27
Highest Price: $432.55
Lowest Price: $419.99
Total Sales in Dollars: $852.54
Number of Sales: 2
Standard Deviation: $8.881261171703
Median Price: $426.27
NCS (exclude):
Average Price: $383.81
Highest Price: $425
Lowest Price: $305
Total Sales in Dollars: $4221.89
Number of Sales: 11
Standard Deviation: $39.106984751623
Median Price: $382.77

hey mate this is a great idea. May I ask a couple of questions. Can omp's be included, % over spot, % gain from start of the calculations, and possibly % off discount from suggested rrp or pandapedia suggested sell price? That way it would be possible to see opportunitys based on current discount levels also and considering the volume being sold in the market from your charts to determine whether it is a bulk qty being sold lowering the price or market sentiment. adding omps could offer a price comparison vs grading to give people an indication of roi for grading.
In the future I think I will allow OMPs to be added manually. Currently there are no OMPs.
% over spot is relatively easy to implement, I will do that when I have time
% gain from start is something that is possible. I would however need to modify the codebase a fair bit to accomodate this as I'd need to uniquely classify every different coin as opposed to relying on you guys to search and then there are the varieties... Will add it to the list of things I may do in the future but for now you can search and pull all the data then compare it manually.
Here's some graphs I did for the 2012 S10Y MS70 comparing the prices of the first 200 sales & current 200 sales.
You can view these in the stats & graphs page. Not too much there at the moment though.
As for comparing the suggested RRP/pricepedia price I won't be including this because the prices fluctuate a lot and there is no fixed RRP. Also, not everybody who uses my site subscribes to pricepedia so that won't be fair.
Since there are multiple calls for OMP to be added I will (when I have time... high priority!) create a page that allows users to add OMP listings to the database. Unfortunately it has to be manual for now so if you have time it'll be helpful, if not then don't worry for now as the graded stuff is still fully automated

.
Cheers for the feedback
