Palladium Coins

Hi everyone!

I wonder if some of you guys could help me giving an advice - what dealers are selling Palladium Coins online (I mean whom can I really trust)? And especially if you have some experience in buying Palladium Maple Leafs, please share.

I want to buy some for a first time, but I see not sow many dealers work with Palladium today.

I am in Toronto now and will stay here for a year.

Thanks and looking forward hearing from you smile

Hi and welcome to the forum David.

Unfortunately, I'm not aware of many Canadian dealers that sell Palladium coins/bars. You might have better luck sourcing them from US dealers, and get them shipped over.

Hi David,
Can't help you with Palladium dealers in Canada but was very interest in the post. In Australia Palladium is readily available from ABC. It is not that popular here. I suspect the reason is that it attracts a Goods and Services Tax. I have a small holding of Palladium, mostly for the sake of diversity. However, the more I learn about it the more I like it. Palladium has always been the poor cousin of PMs. However I feel that it may be a dark horse and more valuable in years to come. Only time will tell.
Good luck with the collecting.

Thank you guys

I've checked them and I see that costs at bullionmart.ca are quite more expensive than at silvergoldbull.ca...

Honestly I was pretty sure that torontogoldbullionworld.com has Palladium in stock, but unfortunately they don't. I've made two orders from them previously and was completely satisfied with their markups for silver.

And do you think I win if I'll buy palladium maple leafs from US dealer? I've found them at APMEX, ProvidentMetals and JMBullion but their price with shipping fee looks disadvantageously in comparison to Canadian dealers:
http://www.apmex.com/product/32457/canada-1-oz-palladium-maple-leaf-bu-random-year
https://www.providentmetals.com/canada-maple-leaf-1-oz-9995-fine-palladium.html
http://www.jmbullion.com/2015-1-oz-canadian-palladium-maple-leaf/

And also I've made some google search and found there are only four Canadian dealers who offer these coins:
https://bullionmart.ca/b-m/product/1-oz-palladium-maple-leaf-common-date/
https://silvergoldbull.ca/search/products/?q=palladium
https://atopmex.com/bullions/567/1-oz-misc-year-canadian-maple-leaf-50-cad-palladium-coin-999
http://www.bordergold.com/products.php#

So do you think I can buy from these domestic dealers? I don't want to pay extra fees for delivery from USA... :/

Looking forward to hear from you

For a bit of variety, you might try buying palladium coins from some of the auction houses in Canada. Being in Toronto, you have several options. Just hop on over to icollector.com and look at Canadian coin auctions. There's also canadiancoinsandpapermoney.com which occassionally has palladium coins popping up for sale.

Perhaps a bit more risky option would be to find a receiving service in Buffalo or wherever where you could have the coins shipped to. Then just pop down for the weekend and pick-up the coins while you're there.

Please let me know if you buy from Atopmex. I have heard different things about them but was hoping to order some platinum from them due to the availability and the unbeatable price.

Okay, sure. But I still have some doubts about that

Pd Maples are not nice, so try to get the cheaper ones.
Pd Panda you can try at the coins show, plenty to choose from
Pd Emu can get from OZ but premium and collectible coins, no bullion

Thank you alor!
I'll likely do so - will try to order the cheapest ones. Just need to check all the prices and fees - I hope to find a secure way to purchase

Okay guys thank you all for your help and professional assistance! I'm really glad I've found this forum

Yesterday I've finally ordered my first test purchase for palladium maples, and I hope to get it today :) So far everything is going well, and I hope that I will not be disappointed about the dealer

I will share my experience even if it's like a failure

I've successfully got my Palladium Maples, this time only two, but I hope I will buy more shortly.

This time I chose Atopmex because of their low prices. I've ordered my coins and got them to my office the next day.
And I was very pleased they've made an exception for me. My order didn't match free shipping conditions but I asked the manager about it and he agreed :) I think the reason was that my office is not so far from them

Nice experience, pleasure to deal with these guys
Thank you all for your help
