i don't have many ASEs, around 30 pieces 20 are in its original tube sealed with bubble wraps. the rest 10 all in individual PVCs and been carefully placed in album. I know these silver coins are just ounces of silver but i just would like give them as much care as i can
This ASE is the only coin I have that I leave out or really handle at all. I won't ever sell it, so it isn't an issue. If I was just buying silver for weight and didn't care about condition I wouldn't buy ASEs.
It's a good idea to protect your coins in mint-condition they will be easier to sell, and will retain their premium value.
However, I also find it gratifying to keep one just for the purpose of hefting and playing with.
When the coin gets dull, it is also fun to polish it to a brilliant shine, and start over again.
Just remember that ASEs have a satin finish, which you will not be able to restore, so do not polish any coins that you wish to sell as "brilliant uncirculated" (even though new ASEs are not actually "brilliant" they will lose some value if the satin background has been burnished to a shine).
