Older Style Perth Mint Silver Bars 50 oz & 1 kg...... Help!

Hey mate, I’m no expert but those are some rarer old style bars!
Have a look on the allengelhard website, just find the Perth Mint tab and scroll down. It’s quite detailed on the details of each type of vintage bar, so you can work it out from there. What a great purchase though, congratulations!
 
the "type" is a side issue, the original invoice (date, bar numbers)/provenance makes the parcel valuable now and in the future.

Not to beat a dead horse but would've been nice to offer them for sale here... many big silver buyers here and avoid feeBay costs. Prolly faster deal and better price for you.

As far as my eBay start price goes, I've got the mint bag, provenance in the form of a copy of the original numbers-matching receipt and I think my bar is "prettier"! We will see....
 
nick, the kg bar is an excellent specimen but too expensive ($1000), the 50oz bars is nothing special and your asking price ($1800) is ridiculous.
 
$1800 for a 50oz bar!? Damn son, I just won an auction on the forum and paid a tick over $1000 for it. Fairly identical style bar from the same mint too
 
poured bar cost $25 / oz
eBay selling for $25 / oz

1 kg metal value is $800 + what ever cost premium buyer willing to pay
50 oz metal value $1250 + what ever cost premium buyer willing to pay

metal value at the top end :)
