Older style Perth Mint minted gold bar

I picked up this Perth Mint 10 gram minted bar today.

The jeweller I bought it from told me a lady customer of his won it as a contestant on ‘Sale of the Century’ and swapped it with him for a pair of earrings many years ago.

The bar is sealed in a very rudimentary plastic jacket. Nothing like the tamper proof minted bars of today.

Could any of the Perth Mint Collectors on our forum hazard a guess when this might have been minted?

1980s? Go figure, I wouldn’t have thought it was that old as it has a website and email address shown on the back.
