Still no alerts or notifications. But I just downloaded the app and it's asked for permission for push notifications which is hopeful. Could someone respond so I can check pls?

I can confirm that we added push notification functionality last night but I have not tested this functionality as yet.

Sorry that emails still don't work for you. We will keep working on returning this functionality. We are glad you are happy with the new push notifications. We weren't surd if it was going to work. Thrilled that it is.
