Oct 4 who is still buying numi over BU?

The thing I don't get about the gem stone is that there is still gemstone tigers for sale! Now the tiger would have to be the second most popular lunar animal, so that means this time next year there could be gemstone dragons available for $2,250 ??

noob question:

By typeset does it mean: 1x coin of each colour in 1oz.. eg. blue, purple, red, black etc... (so in total 9 coins of different colours) ??

If you mean the 4 coin typeset then

Bullion, Proof, colored, gilded I think.

Nope, I'm talking about the 9 coloured dragons at the bottom of the poster:

What do you call a set of the 9x 1oz = typeset?

NOTE: I got the poster from: http://forums.silverstackers.com/topic-15654-color-dragon-poster.html

Going from memory, the 9 coloured dragon coin set will be sold only in China.

Before anyone gets peeved I have one, it wasnt from the P/Mint so its not a inside job. You know what i mean.LOL. It was from a dealer.

With only a total of 11,500 1oz Proof Red Dragons being made(Typeset and singles) compared to 7,500 Plain ones it should do very well. Possibly better. Might buy a 1/2 ouncer too. Forgot about them.

I picked up a pamphlet from the mint today. The typeset does not have a proof coloured. It only has a specimen coloured version along with the gilded specimen, silver proof and silver bullion coins.

Hope this helps

I think the confusion is fun (LOL). I've given up trying to guess what will be released when. I've been speculating for days. I guess I'm lucky that a 10 minute stroll to the mint from work the day before can clarify these things for me.

I don't have any real coin knowledge. Can anyone advise what's the difference between proof vs specimen vs bullion?

Accrding to the Chinese poster from another thread, there will be 111.300 red 1oz dragons and 93.800 red 1/2oz dragons. That does not include the 1000 from the typeset.

stackeract.
