Another nice example from the NZ Mint with the issue of the Silver Fern and a real winner for a silver medallion coin
Great for any stacker to hold as part of the collection
PM if one of these maybe of any interest
1for1 said:problem with these... (A major problem) is that without a date my 2009 Silver Ferns are indistinguishable from any others..
They are the true UNLIMITED coins, for this reason i cleared out of these completely knowing they have no chance of appreciation.
If only they changed the die annually there would most proberbly of been a decent secondary market.. without these will always be a $2 over spot coin.
Shame as i like these rounds.

As 1 for 1 pointed out they would need to be within a few dollars of spot to make it worth while going through all the currency conversions and postage etc. Particularly as Australian Gual Metals Trust has some low cost rounds available locally.
I guess if the Aussie dollar was particularly strong against the NZ dollar then it would be well worth the effort.

Gold Kiwi said:New Zealand Mint produces two silver bullion coins and two gold bullion coins:
1oz Silver Fern - No face value - Looks plain and boring
1oz Silver Taku - Legal tender Fiji $2 - Nice design
5oz Silver Taku - Legal tender Fiji $10 - I didn't know this existed until today. Same design as 1oz Taku.
1oz Gold Kiwi - No face value - Looks plain and boring
1oz Pacific Sovereign - Legal tender Fiji $200 - Nice design
Seeing as they cost the same, I would always choose the Taku and Pacific Sovereign over the Silver Fern and Gold Kiwi.
