Hey Guys,

Trying to see whether the 1 oz silver is a good buy and couldn't find much info on here..

any thoughts anyone?

It's a lovely coin for sure and a gold one has just been released ( http://agaunews.com/?p=10294 ). I don't think it's going to be a big appreciator, but a great design to have and very nicely packaged. Buy if you like, not if you're expecting to make big money on it.
 
I like the design and it's fairly limited mintage at 8k. The excitement for it would have died down by now but all depends how much you can get it for. Issue price or less then I'd say it's a good buy.

Check out past and current eBay sales to see if the price is trending up.

I've still got more demand for the Koi than the Crane. Excitement died down for it after its first year, but picked right back up after the release of the Crane, at least through my sales.
