NZ Mint Great White Shark Coin modified?

Is it just me or the bite marks on the coin have been changed?

Suggest you check with Maggie as she has all the details

They did have a problem with the teeth

Its not a matter of a few missing holes. The look of the coin is compleatly different than what the original advertise art work indicated. The coin now lacks the subtle blance that appeared on the original and now has four great big holes that look nothing like a bite mark across the coin. The original art work showed a clear 'bite mark' the four holes now look just like that, four holes. So if it is entirely reasonable for persons who ordered this coin based on what it was advertised to look like to retihink their decision should they choose to.
Given that the New Zealand mint charge a premium for their coins buyers are not being unreasonable to expect to receive the coin that was advertised, not a quick made version modified at the last minute. I hope that the New Zealand mint provides a photo of the finished coin soon to put buyers minds at ease as I expected this to be a stunning coin and I hope that it has not morfed into an ugly duckling.
 
im hoping since this is just a picture the coin turns out better. the bite now looks like big holes instead of teeth
 
i still haven't stopped laughing belly laugh haven't done that for ages very funny !

i think they are fine Maggie now its me telling you not to worry :)
 
imagine if a shark come up and tried to scare someone looking like that they would die laughing

Don't worry about me backing out if that is concerning you maggie, I made a commitment and I will honor it, however I may just flip the coins straight away rather than playing hold and see with them
 
Please ShadowPeo, do not take my comment to heart, I do not take anyones decision whether they want the coins personally. I just appreciated the light moment that all the U's presented. : )

As soon as I get confirmed information on the design I will post it on the Shark thread
