I am toying with the idea of putting together a mid year meeting in say June or July.
I would need at least 30 participants to make it worthwhile. I know the mayor of Albury from when I helped put on a Charlie Chaplin exhibition two years ago. I believe with numbers I could get a free meeting place.
The model would be a Saturday meeting with some stackers doing a one day return trip. Others could arrive Friday night and leave Sunday. I could get discounted accommodation for a two night package. I could also arrange a Friday night dinner and a Saturday night dinner or paddle boat cruise.
I need 4. Volunteers, one from each state to coordinate the attendees. Also Vic could handle Tas, SA both WA & NT, and NSW could look after Qld. I can then run the show without worrying about individual arrangements. Further if there is a stacker in Albury/Wodonga that would help with a man on the ground.
I may gut be able to get a dealer or two to attend if the numbers are up.
