Referencing a new 10Oz Perth mint bar as a starting point, the only additional value it has is either artistic or historical - Such things are entirely in the eye of the beholder. To my eye it has no artistic merit: Its a bad mould poured sloppily.

Its collectors premium is as a historical anomoly and as such the right collector might pay significantly more... but if you get $1000 for one of these I wouldn't be surprised if counterfeit versions started popping up because there is little skill required to reproduce that level of quality.

That being said Perth and J&M bars do not hold the strongest premium over or have the variety as Engelhard`s. With the Perth there seems to be a lot of minute detail variances in the same form.
