I like to think of it as $45,000 gold :)

BTW yesterday was a forum record - over 3000 visits by 1270 visitors (people logging in from more than one computer get counted twice etc). Both were new highs, as was the "most online" of 82 users.

Gold is the only real money in the world today.

What do you think I'm going to say?

I have but one ounce of Gold in my posession, but I'd rather sell my entire stock of silver before I part with it.

THAT is how much I value Gold.

I first began investing in metals to buy Gold until I researched Silver. I definitely have more Silver and not much Gold. I still want to buy more Gold but the low price is what keeps me going to Silver.

Unfortunately so.

No ire or sarcasm intended. I have only the one bar, but it's my favourite component in my small stack.

I only buy silver and gold with whatever fiat I have left after running a household with kids. ie I'm not a rich bloke, but a hard worker none the less & don't waste fiat needlessly.

I don't really buy anything in terms of luxury goods (maybe the odd Magazine? ;)) and my family knows a piece of silver is a perfect gift for me whatever form it takes.

As much as I am surprised by the sheer size of the stack some folks have, I also realise that a lot of other every day people who just work and save are just like me and have a humble stack.

But I'm fiercely proud of what I have. It took a lot of real effort to earn every ounce of it and under my ideology, represents who I am in more ways than most investors could honestly appreciate.
 
I'm with you Auspm, my stack is incredibly humble but I love it.
What I've learnt on the site so far is that size doesn't matter but having an open mind and insight into how life works is immeasurable.

Smashed this yesterday - 3400 visits by 1380 visitors. I can't track how many people log in from multiple locations, but at a guesstimate there's probably 1000 unique visitors to the site with numbers like that.

Visitors graph is starting to look like the silver graph. Interest & awareness is certainly rising.
