Not Impressed with Lunar Skulls

I'm glad I didn't take a punt. Not a fan of this one. The design doesn't feel balanced to me. Maybe too much negative/blank space? I dunno? Something feels a little off and I can't put my finger on it. I hope everyone who ordered one is happy though.

shhhh. These are the most amazing 1 oz high relief coins on the market today. Definitely worth 300/400.00, yes? I mean, this thing sold for 500.00 on eBay at one point. They are priced pretty low on eBay right now. You can pick one up for fire sale prices. Check it out. I mean there's one for 205, 215, 172.00, etc...that 172.00 is cheap. You should take a punt and dive in? :o

I'll offer you spot plus shipping for one. :)

I must confess , I regularly scan the majority of the North American coin dealer websites and several European (mostly German ) websites and forums with my eyes open for the newest releases, and nothing has really caught my attention since the beginning of the new year! But I think that these would be a pretty cool addition to my silver collection...and only $6oz above spot !

Item Number: B79802
Product Type: Dice

I have no idea why you posted the dice in this thread, but someone sold some on the forum a few days ago. I would have loved to grab them but due to the recent issues I had huge delays.

Maybe someone will do a big order from overseas and bring in more.

I know what you mean , as I was probaly one of the first 10 people to order...but I am sure that those who ordered later (and most assuredly paid more) will be happy if they receive a low C.O.A. Then again, there are those who prefer certain numbers like 77 or 88, or 499...so perhaps the random draw all evens out. Perhaps his thinking was in line with artists who make low mintage limited edition prints. The idea there is that each print is an exact replica ; thus, the actual number has no relation to the selling price in the market. That said, I have yet to receive my four proofs, so I do have a chance of receiving a lower COA#. I imagine that I will also hold on to all of them for at least a few years.

Cheers,
Luker

I've got no issue with the random draw. I think it's probably the best way to go about it, in this case.

Suppose it would be nice to have in the top 10, or a certain "cool" #, but whatever. I can barely see the thing, anyway.

Those who got in early got the benefit of getting the lower offering price(s).. Sheesh, isn't that enough??
