excuse me, but please don't let the pandas and tigers fight each other.. they're both endangered species..
let them grow separately at their own pace :P

Mixed thoughts here although I agree with the gist of what he said.

I tried selling Tigers @ $50 2 weeks ago, took ages to move them. This week, no problems at $55, snapped up fast.

This is just my experience and probably may vary for different people.
If you have anymore for $50 let me know :P Haha

None, cleared all of my trading stack now only got a few left which I'm holding.

Got some 2010 pandas though, thinking of chucking them up at $70 each to see if anyone bites :D

Experiment, experiment.
Am still waiting on mine from the group buy from Maggie.

$51 each which included postage definitely seems like it was a good price!

After a quick browse of eBay this evening (don't have access at work) and an auction on Silver Stackers tonight, we have recent sales of 2010 Tigers for:
$56
$57
$62

Based on the consistency of these results and the lower price paid for the Tiger in 2010 I feel comfortable that they are currently neck and neck at this specific point in time (2010 Panda vs Tiger, not to say it won't be surpassed at some point in the future!) :)

This is good fun to watch :D Keep going boys!

The message clearly going out to all at the moment is stack lunars and pandas.

I can't agree that the ebay price reflects the truth of the whole world. I can easily buy 2010 panda in China today for only $52 AUD include postage.

You wouldn't care to share your source would you?

You have to think about numbers of people which are able to buy the coins in future.

Look at the number of chinease poeople. A lot of pople can afford today coins and in future
there will be much much more. They are not very interested in australian Lunar coins.
They love their own coins and the Pandas first.

The Lunar market in germany is very big, more than pandas. But silverbugs have already filled
their stock. Prices for tiger coins already go backwards. A few weeks ago you did not have
any problem to find buyers for 2oz coins (90) At the moment you have problems to get 75

The pandas will go back to their home. I can remember, my dealer ( beginning year 2010 ) offered
me more cash for my 2009 pandas than he asked for the 2010.
He told me, that he sells them back to china and was collecting each coin he could buy back.

In my opinion the pandas will outperform Lunar coins easily. Also if they mintage of 2011
is 6.000 000 vs 300.000. No problem for the pandas.

My personally stock of Lunar 1oz Coins and Pandas is around 3:1.
I would wish it would be 1:3. The premium i have paid for the pandas (2008...2011)
was a little bit bigger than the Lunars.

Its hard to say today, one of the reason to buy more Lunar than pandas was the storage problem.
Its much easier to store Lunars than pandas.

I would say the overseas postage is the price killer. I am about to buy 2011, 2010, 2008 tonight and arrange the post to my parents home which is in Beijing. Trying to contact the seller to negotiate the price now.....

So I ask again, you wouldn't want to share your source lionfish would you? :D

What about the authenticity issue? If I bought Pandas now I would be wondering if they are real, and when I sold them I imagine that the buyer would be asking the same question. So fa with Lunars no-one ever questions whether they are buying a real Lunar.
