Newcastle members

What happens in Newcastle stays in Newcastle..

Very fond memories of my visits.
 
Now that we're all here in one spot, can we make a list of dealers, shops, pawn brokers or anyone who buys and sell gold or silver in Newcastle and Central Coast?

I hate the idea of always driving down to Sydney to eg. sell some silver if I need cash.
 
There isn't many options in newy.
I think the site sponsors are the better option.

That said, there is newcastle coins on hunter st. They buy and sell.

There was a member on here who is an 'accountant' who started his own trading company. He has never answered my emails on the subject so don't know how he went. I did see his website though.

G&c in maitland don't sell straight bullion only carded roos, proofs and predec anongst other coins.

Other than that, you can get sovs etc cheaper here than the antique stores.

As for selling, other than that mentioned above, I can offer better returns than the 'cash for gold' counter at Kotara :lol:

Guess it's just online trading here for the time being to get my collection more up to date. Will pop in to the Sydney stores when I get down there next.
 
Wow.. a few more Newcastle people is always a good sign. Well for those interested, I'll be selling both Au and Ag shortly (hopefully meet up with some of you on the weekend of the 2nd/3rd Feb). Let me know if you guys are after a bit. I'v got denoms of 1/2 and 1 oz gold, 1 ounce up to kilo Ag. Mostly common coins and blob gold. Shoot me a PM.

I WAS going to put something on the sale thread.. but it's more of a Newcastle thread :) .. hope you guys have some cash..lol. I'm in a bit of a need at present!
