Hi Stackers
I am sure alot of you guys have heard of the famous 10 oz
Scottsdale stacker bars made by the Materion.
Recently, 2013 Scottsdale release their new version bar with
Serial at the reverse. Somehow some of this bars release without serial
totally blank at reverse. If anyone have them I want to
know how many are out there.

Not looking for old version.

New Version have serial at reverse.

Where did you see one or hear about them to think that there are ones out there that are blank? I imported some from the first batch made when Scottsdalde reintroduced them - they have had serial numbers from the first.

Have a positive confirmation from the seller that the one
coming my way as decribed. Someone informed me look
out for them. As soon as it comes in I am going to get
it tested. Can't go wrong.
Unless it is fake. :(

A number of people trying to sell me
the old version. Claiming no serial.
I am after the blank one.
Top $$dollars on them.

I can't seem to find the thread with the blank bars. I vaguely remember its cos they were trying stamping out prototype bars. Not sure if they're for sale.

Edit: found the thread!!!

The blank bar in that pic is a kilo bar prototype that was blank on both sides - it was taken to Berlin to show the form factor. The stamp wasn't ready in time for the show. I believe the shape has actually changed since then.

Interested to see if any blank back 10oz bars did escape into the wild.

What is the intrinsic values of the bar having a reverse blank?
I hope I did not pay too much in premium unless I really score it.

Intrinsic? Intrinsically It would be worth the same as any other 10oz or 1kg lump of silver

To be honest, don't think there's any value for a blank bar. Would be good to hunt those materion chunky bars. Apparently they're really hard to come by.

If you don't mind me asking, how much extra did you pay for a bar with a blank reverse?

Remember seeing Iceblue posting a blank reverse 10oz Stacker syle bar

So what if it has or has not a serial number? It's a blob of silver bar for cryin' out loud. It's not like it has any more value with some numbers stamped on it than the 10 oz OPM bars I purchased a couple of weeks ago. Stop kidding yourself if you are one who believes otherwise. :-)
