Hello everyone,
Found this site a short time ago and love all the info you folks post.
I know nothing about coins of any type and have decided to start buying bullion in 1oz to 10oz sizes.
I only buy the cheepest bullion and hope to see it go up someday or atleast to protect my wealth as I cannot seem to save US dollars.
My question is, is buying Bullion just for its value as a PM a smart thing to do.I do not buy any collectable OZs or Bars or coins.
Thanks for your help

Agree. Gain max ounces that are highly recognisable and easy to sell. Stay away from the fancies till you have built your base. Set your self an ounce target and get aggressive on the dips.

Welcome!

10oz is a good size, not too big but smaller premiums than the 1oz.

Save the coins for later, once you get bored of the bars.

Thanks Guys,
That is what I thought, silver is silver
Now as a new stacker what is M8????
I will continue to stack some 1oz because they seem they would be easy to sell or barter and 10oz and 5oz to add to my stack.
Collectables are out for me way to old to try and learn new tricks.

See you can teach a old dog new tricks

Welcome Ounces :)

Of course you can teach an old dog new tricks.
The problem arises when old dogs don't want to learn new tricks.

Course you can but the old Dog has to want learn, ounces is already in the right frame of mind. ounces is now awake and now knows what is what. He/She would not be asking otherwise. Many people here know the state of mind and can identify when things clicked for them.

Stacking is a way of life, The recognition that all is not well in the world or that ones savings in the form of fiat might not be the best choice for them over the long term only occurs to those who question the status quo of the generally accepted memes we are conditioned to.

Once you have scratched the surface and examine things for what they are certain things all fall into place and you then contemplate your actions from another angel or point of view.

Things of real importance coalesce and replace the inconsequential.

When I was in the U.S a few years ago a guy came up to me and asked if I wanted to buy some drugs? I said "no thanks mate" he angrily replied "Don't call me mate for it means that I luuuv you"(attempt at writing with a u.s accent)
Anyhoo, Welcome ounces there's plenty of useful info on SS.it seems that you have started with the right strategy.

Bolding is mine, because that bit is important (and some folks gravitate to coins because of it).
