New Perth Mint Stock Horse Coin

db23, how low can you go for us poor folk? I'd like a couple to start off with, to be sure I like them. I'm on the fence right now about the 'wow-ness' of this coin. Thanks much. Not sure if you are the Dr. F I've bought coins from before? :-)
 
Just scooped me up 2 from that eBay link, probably over-paid, a tad bit, but then again, maybe these will go like hot cakes and drive up price...who knows, right. I wanted my 2, and can't wait to see them. :>
 
Oopsie, price just went up a few bucks...glad I got my 2. The horse series bullion, are going to go in record time. I'm saving my pennies for when they get released in Sept, and I'll be buying a stack of a 100. Period. How many like me are there? I bet a lot. They will go like hot cakes...faster than the snakes and dragons...much faster. Who doesn't love horses? And you know they will be beauties!
 
I like dragons more than horses but this coin is quite nice. :)

Damn the silver coin collecting. Would need to find a cheaper "hobby". :)
 
looks like interest is rising ... this raises the chances of another coins of the series to be released later ... this in turn will make 1st coin a real winner IMO
 
I will seek confirmation that this is part of a separate series - so far it's only conjecture.
 
The mint was commissioned to strike the coin for a company in Germany......This info was given to me straight from the mint.
 
At least it has a watertank in the background.

I like the artwork.

Small mintage, so might be worth collecting a few.

Hopefully this is part of a series and not a one off, that should increase the prices in the future. Anyway, I am going to get a couple. I am a big fan of the Perth mint coins, I will buy 2, keep one and sell one at some point. Actually I will get 3, hopefully can sell 2 of them at a profit to cover the cost of the first :)

Yea, they are part of a series. Waiting to here back from a dealer to see if he can tell me how many are in the series and if a new coin will be released each year or what. I will let you know if and when he replies.
