Bruce Lee is great, but I'm starting to think the Perth Mint has a guy with Photoshop whose job it is to find pictures on the internet, remove the background, and then get them stuck on a coin. Probably about 10 minutes effort for someone skilled with Photoshop.

I do not get it.
The dude died 40+ years ago, WHATS THIS 75 YEARS stuff?
He was born 75 years ago
But the coin has 1940-2015.
The guy died in 1973, so what's the point?
Ugly coin and stupid money making waste of time.

Edit:reading the mint blurb there is NO MENTION of his death.
Is there a chance the idiot that made this still thinks he is alive?
Classic.

The only point is always making money from buyers who'll jump on anything that's hyped-up, new, shiny and has limited mintage. There's no end to it.

Yes missing, I agree with you. There are just endless ideas of crap out there to put on a piece of metal. Wow!

I'm BIG FAN of Bruce Lee. He had some philosophy that is maybe not so good seen in his movies. He had energy of the atomic bomb. Just watch his videos and you will notice that guy looks like he will explode. He had great body. He spent most of the time training. He was fast.
I can watch his movies unlimited times and I would still like them. Because they are not crap as most of the movies that tried to imitate him but failed.
Without him there would be no Chuck Norris, Steven Seagal, Jean Claude van Damme, etc.
He was the only one that beaten Chuck Norris.
Chuck Norris is only famous because somebody made website Chuck Norris facts. Sure, he was few time world karate champion, but his movies are crap. The best moment of his career was when he was beaten by Bruce.
Bruce and his son Brandon died to young.
And both of them get much more famous after they died.
Somebody committed big crime when releasing Game of Death which was unfortunately never finished.

What it makes me sad even more that until this day I haven't seen coin or medal dedicate to him that I really like.

Well, as he would said:
"The key to immortality is first living a life worth remembering."

May he rest in peace.

Seriously? There are stacks of coins that mark the anniversary of the birth of someone who has died, this is no different from that. Far less coins marking the anniversary of their death

Would have thought any coiny would know that...

We're just waiting for the okay to publish, but there's another pair of coins to be released by another mint in a similar style, i.e. coloured silver.

Would be nice to see something epic, perhaps a big silver with him wearing his famous yellow jumpsuit and having that gilded.
